Keeping Raleigh rolling
Community Bike Repair Events
Oaks and Spokes, in partnership with the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants North Carolina Field Office (USCRI-NC), WakeUp Wake County and Raleigh Community Kickstand (RCK)were recipients of the Triangle Transportation Choices Equity and Inclusion Pilot Initiative.
This initiative provided us with the funding to provide four, quarterly bike repair days for USCRI-NC’s clients. With the help of RCK, Oak City Cycling and our wonderful volunteers we’ve been able to host several free repair days. On average we repair about 15 – 20 roll up bikes.
Volunteers are always welcome to join us, no experience required and training enthusiastically provided. We also welcome families, and younger volunteers with a parent or adult. For upcoming volunteer opportunities, visit our events page here.

Secure, Safe, Sustainable
Bike Parking
We work with local businesses to purchase and install bike parking as a certified Dero Dealer. As cyclists ourselves, we understand what makes great bike parking. We are also well versed in the City of Raleigh’s permitting and Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) requirements.
