Meet Our Board Candidates
We are so lucky to have so many fantastic board candidates for our upcoming 2022 board elections. Please see the candidates below. All of our members will receive an invitation to our upcoming (virtual) membership party on January 26th, along with a ballot to vote after the event. This year, we have a few updates to our board structure.
Our current board has recently taken action to create (2) additional at-large positions, for a total of (11) board member seats. This change will allow our organization to recruit additional board candidates that reflect our diverse community. The board also modified our governance structure, to better account for the fact that the organization is now staffed. The board will consist of at-large positions, other than a board president + appointed treasurer position. This will allow board members to identify sub-committees they would like to chair, based on their individual interests and strengths.
