Urban Agriculture Spring Ride
Garden Tour Through Raleigh, By Bike!
In collaboration with community partners Oaks and Spokes is in the planning stages of a spring bike ride that will highlight urban agriculture in action in our downtown Raleigh community. We are extremely excited to work with Raleigh City Farm on this event and programming and will host the ride in tandem with the annual “Bearth”day Celebration on the farm on April 23rd, offering a culminating experience for those that join! The ride will include a curated selection of destinations, including Community Food Lab founder Erin White’s garden, and the Black Farmer’s HUB.
We are currently looking for 2-3 locations to add on for this garden tour where households would share a glimpse of their vegetable garden, and show fellow sustainability enthusiasts just how easy it can be to grow food from home. If you are a garden enthusiast, or have something special you’d like to highlight at your home, please reach out to us so that we can be in touch about this community event.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with onsite logistics the day of the event. Please fill out this form if you would like to help guide one of our Downtown Raleigh biking tours.
