This is a weekly, recurring, no-drop social ride that meets at Crank Arm Brewing. It’s a medium-paced ride with an average speed of 12–14 MPH (the front of the group may move faster than the back), covering an average distance of 10 miles with 500 ft of elevation gain. It’s suitable for all skill levels and bike types
- Ride meets at 6:30PM and leaves at 7PM.
- The ride is accompanied by a lead, sweeper, and mid-group support to ensure the safety of participants.
- Ride will stop and re-group periodically to ensure no one is left behind.
- Ride happens regardless of temperature or daylight, but is cancelled if it rains or snows during the ride.
- Ride traverses roads and greenways.

We are currently partnering with homeless resource centers in the Raleigh area to repair bicycles and teach maintenance skills. We work with the city, local cycling shops, cycling non-profits, and other organizations and individuals to collect resources and skills to address a need in our community for safe, reliable, self-sufficient transportation. Our motto is simple: fix, teach, give.

We are hosting four monthly winter bike education workshops at Raleigh Brewing on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. Each workshop will last about an hour and cover a different topic. We will leave some time after each workshop for questions and one-on-one help.
Today's workshop:
Tuesday, January 14th: Flat Repair and Demystifying Tubeless Tires: In this workshop, we will review how to change a flat tire on both your front and rear wheels. We will also discuss tubeless tires, including what you need to know and whether they might be right for you.
Upcoming workshops:
Tuesday, February 11th: The ABCs of Basic Bike Maintenance: This workshop will cover essential aspects of basic bike maintenance. Keeping your bike in safe, working order doesn’t have to be a mystery! We’ll share everything you need to know to keep you rolling longer.
Tuesday, March 11th: Wayfinding and Connectivity: Getting around Raleigh on a bike can be challenging, but there are plenty of ways to plan your rides for utility and convenience. We’ll explore tips for trip planning and using Raleigh’s bike networks to get from point A to point B.
Tuesday, April 8th: How to Shop for a Bike on Facebook Marketplace: Shopping for a used bike can feel daunting if you’re unfamiliar with the process. In this workshop, we’ll guide you through the steps of buying a used bike, what to look for, what to avoid, and how to use smart tactics to ensure you end up with a great, new-to-you bicycle.
